We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PAN SME with expertise in Azure environments and automation to join our dynamic team. As a PAN SME – Azure Automation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and efficient network and cloud solutions for our clients.Responsibilities:– Serve as the subject matter expert for Palo Alto Networks (PAN) products, including firewalls, network security, and related technologies.– Design, implement, and manage PAN-based security solutions in Azure cloud environments.– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect and deploy secure, scalable, and highly available network and cloud infrastructures.– Develop and maintain automation scripts and workflows using tools such as PowerShell, Azure Automation, ARM templates, etc., to streamline operational tasks and improve efficiency.– Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.– Proactively identify opportunities for optimization, performance tuning, and cost savings within Azure environments.– Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to PAN, Azure, and cloud security.Requirements:– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.– Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience working as a PAN SME with a focus on Azure environments and automation.– In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks (PAN) products, including PANOS, firewalls, and security features.– Proficiency in Microsoft Azure cloud services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Networking, Azure Active Directory, etc.– Strong scripting and automation skills, with experience in PowerShell scripting, ARM templates, Azure Automation, etc.– Solid understanding of networking principles, TCP/IP, routing, VPNs, and security concepts.– Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.– Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and interact with clients.– Relevant certifications such as Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE), Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert are preferred
